Re: Real locations.
Greetings readers, developers, feelers and perverts alike. I'd like to ask a question regarding the background artwork for the game / novel. I think I've heard somewhere before that the backgrounds are actually real locations, captured by camera, and then paint-ified. Is this true? If so, does anyo...

Re: Kenji's Smile
I "only" needed about 2 weeks before I could bring myself to starting my second playthrough (which I did two days ago). I win. Your name is uncreative. Mine is from a badass villain with badass plans . You win nothing. Mine is original, with a complete legacy and etymology behind it...

Re: Significance of the Act 2 Openings (Spoilers)
Almost all the scenes from the openings appear to either actually show what happens or symbolically represent what's going on, but there's one I just never quite get. The scene where Hisao lifts Emi up to get the apple. I can't think of anything in her route that even comes close to Hisao helping h...

Re: Lilly's Angry Moment
She's pregnant and she's afraid that might hurt the unborn baby   Although I agree completely with Megumeru, I must say your explanation is also very possible. Write a fanfic, please. I forget, didn't it at one point in her route mention Lilly was on birth control? Specifically ...

Re: Can't stop thinking KS when I watch something else
The reason Misha's hair is pink is because she swallowed som N.14-pills (:P) ...I don't get it. Right, you're American. It's a pill featured in one of the Tintin albums by Hergé. ;) Among the side effects (if eaten by humans) are; multi-coloured hair, very long and oddly shaped hair, and loud hiccu...

I don't think I follow you... Angry Hanako screaming in German. My cousin has a German amazon girlfriend. She yells at her kids in German. It scares me . This makes me remember a comment about German (specifically Rammstein). " French is the language of Love. German is the language of anger. &...

I'd ask for a link, but I don't think that is allowed?Denouement wrote:Just got done playing a Castlevania styled game on Newgrounds that involves playing as Kenji against the feminist takeover and acquiring revenge for Hisao's death. You use his scarf as a whip and can even unleash your Shaman Eyes.

I agree haha, everytime I saw him I just felt like punching him right in the mouth, but true to his form every now and the he would give us a gold quote. "As the days go by, I realize more and more that you are not 'ballin" If I ever actually manage to get a girlfriend (not hopeful) and t...

Re: Deepest/Most Emotional/Thought Provoking Scene
Every ending and Lilly's confession. And the scene where Kenji removes his glasses, weirdly enough. Agreed about Kenji. Seeing how tired his eyes looked behind those glasses. Like the guy really went through some serious shit in his life. More likely, he's a paranoid insomniac. That's probabl...

I could never take her "angry" face seriously. Like, yeah, she's telling me to get out of her house, but with that face I can't help but feel that she's either glued my ass to the chair, or she's undressing me mentally . Ok, sweet. I'm not the only one who thought this. Yeah I could never...

Re: Game of the Year?
Better win some late Indie GOTY awards or I'm going to be mad. It's not going to win any GOTY because it isn't a game. Why is it not a game? Because it's an experience. No, but the reason why it isn't a game is because a Visual Novel is exactly that. It's a novel that has pictures and is semi-inter...
