I feel honoured...
Now I just hope I'll be able to finish reading it in time to join the discussion ;-)

Huh, interesting. This could be fun. I'm pretty sure I read Katawa Kijo, but rereading never hurt anyone.

Looking forward to this.

I'd like to do this, but I'm busy with classes right now. I have a break coming up though, so perhaps I'll join then, if I can remember.

It's been a while since I last binged on a fic like that. I'll have to keep my comments to myself, for the time being.

Oh, it's a joy to read. One of my favorite crackfics.

It's escaped me too, even though it's listed right next to 'Kagami pseudo-route' in the archive. Time to rectify that.

Well, I didn't read it mainly because I tend to avoid stories that were written before the full release. Still, the fact that Mirage wrote it, and the fact that the chapter titles are all Disney songs, are points in its favor already :) .

I finished it in a bit under 8 hours excluding breaks, about the time required for LotR. Yes, it did require cutting myself off from life a bit. Solid entertainment does that to me.

How the hell did you read 440,000 words in 8 hours?

Commitment.
I read the entire game of thrones series in 4 days, go summer!

Not being coy or anything, but that's about 50,000 words an hour, a thousand words (four pages) every ten minutes. It was 4 am over here when I was done. I slept badly and had to go for a full-body massage the next day because I was so stiff. Amazing experience. Frankly, I hated the idea of stopping. Then I hit chapter 44, about 50 parts down. Argh. I'm new to this and I shouldn't be overstraining myself in case I see red flashes interspersed with white lightning. :)

The author must be commended for a great read. Wait, you're the author. Thank you. (Yes, my speech patterns are now messed up by too much KS reading.)

Technical Note: I narrowed the screen page down to about the width of a paperback, for faster reading. I read vertically. It helped some.

I got though Stephen King's The Stand, which is between 460,000 and 520,000 words, in about that amount of time. Admittedly, it was a one time feat, and I didn't sleep that much that day (or for the next week... :? ).

Ooo, I like the people who are coming out the racks to participate in this. We need to do more community thigns like this, and like the Library, they are awesome.

Katawa Kijo - Route by Mirage_GSM (completed, 46.862 words)
PoV: Hisao; Pairings: Hisao x Misha, Kenji x Hanako; Begins: after Act I – “Misha end”
Remarks: non-standard setting (magic)
Hmm, I've read this at least twice, and the first time was while it was being posted. I believe I shall be able to participate.
