They would so badly feed off of each other's anxieties, though.

I feel like it works too well based on what we can see as the readers. They're both messes, but together they'd be a cute, supportive mess.
Supportive?

Yeah, because Kenji was totally supportive already when he lost his shit.

My favorite, which I don't think I've seen mentioned anyplace else, is Hanako x Misha.

Think of all the things they'd share.

-- They are the winggirls of two of the top girls in Yamaku, Lilly and Shizune
-- They have both had pretty horrible middle school experiences, to the point where they both considered not talking to anybody ever as viable lifestyles
-- They both decided to change that lifestyle because of their deep friendship with another woman.
-- Given that Hanako swings that way in the first place, it's a reasonable story (completely non-canon, of course) that Hanako has had a long-standing unrequited love for Lilly, similar to Misha's love for Shizune.
-- They are both pretty smart and have a lot of inner strength. Misha isn't touted as a bright light in the VN, but she manages to keep up simultaneous Japanese/JSL translations with Shizune, which takes a lot of clock speed.

I could even see an opportunity for the relationship developing in the VN. During Shizune's bad route Misha is missing a lot of classes and really needs to catch up, and I could see Hanako getting drafted to help as kind of an expert in catching up after missing classes.

If the fates conspired in the right ways, I could actually see a friendship blossoming between them.

Note: I AM NOT REQUESTING THE FOLLOWING WORDS!
It would be intersting to see that develop and how you'd work around all the various plot points. Hisao would have to be with Rin or Emi most likely to get him out of the way.

Emi X Hisao is canon OTP if anybody tells you otherwise they are LYING.

Out of curiousity, have you even played the other routes/endings?

Not sure that's accurate... O.o When do either of them ever serve winggirls?

@GP: Last I heard, he's in the "This game is totally real life and playing the other routes is actually really cheating"-esque stage of KS addiction.

No.

And it's not a stage, it's a way of life. I'll maybe get around to it, I just can't handle going through KS withdrawal again with classes going on and such.

Have you at least played her route? You're restricted to emi jokes until such time as you complete the other ones.

The entire forum goes quiet, so quiet you can hear a pin drop.
Gasps and hushed whispers emanate from the userbase. Nobody can believe what they're hearing.
Somewhere in the back, a baby starts to cry.

Guest User and Sea trade uneasy glances at this statement. They had certainly not expected this.
Someone going out of their way to not play the other routes?
It's unfathomable, surely?
Unfathomable... But it's happening right before their eyes.

Is this a true tale, or another urban legend?
