I was recently struck by how many KS fans seem to be male, and I was just wondering what the ratio between male and female players was. The game certainly seems geared towards straight men considering that all of the potential love interests are girls, but I was curious. I mean, it is a romance after all, and those typically have high amounts of female fans, regardless of what gender the hero/heroine is. Just personal curiosity.

While I don't need it, where's the following "Forever alone Males" option?

"Romance" doesn't necessarily = female fans irregardless of subject matter or genre. Given the type of work this is, it would surprising if this wasn't a male dominated fan base.

I don't think anyone expects it to not be totally male-dominated. The question is merely how much it is male-dominated.

As I post this, it's at 92%, which is pretty close to what I expected (90% straight male, 5% straight female, 2.5% each for the other two options is my rough guess).

*Shrug* Just reading the opening post made it sound like he was "struck" by how many posters here were male.
I guess I was simply surprised that he was surprised, and the argument he put forth "Well it's a romance so naturally that equals female fans" seemed questionable to me.
Perhaps I should have specified that I thought it would be surprising if it wasn't "massively male dominated" in my response?

Nah, it's like Mirrormn said, I was curious about how many fans were male, not amazed by the lack of female fans. Perhaps I could have worded the OP better, but there you have it.

im a straight male ... but youtubers say im gay ... so idk anymore lol ... we all know you tubers are smart , balanced and fair ... so when they say im gay because i like shizune more then lilly ... i need to take a long look at my life ... maybe they know something i dont

tbh, I was kinda expecting this.

About what I knew of the game before I played it was that it was a game where you dated girls, and had some eroge scenes.

A porn game where you date girls? tbh, I was surprised when I saw a girl on the forums

It would only be gay if you like Kenji more than Lilly. You have nothing to worry about.

So, they say your gay because, you like one girl more than another? Your right. We need to be throwing our money at these people for their priceless insight.

I am yet another straight male, but i actually talk to atleast 2 females that also enjoy the game, so although KS has a large male fanbase it has its fair share of female fans too .
