The official statement on the subject:
Suriko wrote:If you see the girl's festival then you're locked to her route. Act 1 sets the route you follow for the rest of the game.
So yes, the path is set, and any 'jumping' (see: cheating) will result in a bad end.
It's a good thing Shizune is deaf, she is the only one who can stand (not) hearing "Wahaha~!" over and over.

I think what's gonna happen is that bad ends involve additional 18x CGs involving girls that aren't on your path.

I'm merely saying that there is absolutely no path jumping past act 1. Any attempts to do so will result in a bad end.

Well, I'm old enough to remember first generation Babelfish translations...

Yeah I don't think the game will allow players jump paths, and when one considers the ending if you didn't choose a girl by the end of act 1 it makes the idea of jumping paths so unnecessary.

This is a good place to ask this: How many possible outcomes are there with a girl? Your selections can't possibly stop mattering after Act 1, can they?

From the FAQs:
Q: Will there be different endings for each of the girls?
A: Yes, all the stories have at least two endings.
And indeed, there are more selections to do after those in Act 1.
Shattering your dreams since '94. I also fought COVID in '20 and '21, and all I got was this lousy forum sig.

Jumping is unnecessary because you literally get pushed off onto one if you know what i mean
