I checked the blog specifically because it was April first. I started doubting myself a third of the way through as it all seemed so credible and then I laughed reading the rest of it. I still have a smile on my face. I would rather like "YOU'RE cute," as an option though. Even if it didn't lead to a BL route, it would be hilarious to read Kenji's reaction.

I applaud you, developers.

Damn it, I wasn't aware of today's date and you really got me. Indeed, it kinda pissed me off those several payments for special features and since I played the demo a long time ago, I even believed the sponsor ads. I didnt know about steam so I completely believed that site was legitimate.

As some people said, the blog post became more unbelievable as it progressed. When I read the part where the Devs would work in Denmark it just sounded ridiculous and I finally thought something was fishy...

When the prank is well elaborated as this one was, it doesn't make rage at all  ! Geat job, I had a good laugh!

I was going "what the hell" reading about the two "new" characters and could not figure out the change from a free game to charging for "premium content". The screenshots of Kenji and Misha/Shizune were what finaly made it click in my mind that this was another April Fools prank. Good one.

Hahaha! Unfortunately my brother saw the site before I did so I knew ahead of time it was an April Fool's joke :(

Very well-made though! I loved the Duke Nukem Forever bits on the fake Steam page, and the link to vaporware on wikipedia XD

I... REALLY want to play Rika's path. T_T

The condition is fatal if untreated, but Rika has gone through a reconstructive heart surgery as a toddler. Even so, she still left physically weak and at a constant danger of complications. A string of hospitalizations has made Rika a loner, but not a lonely person. She is sometimes hard to get through to, and tends to get lost in thought even in crowds. People sometimes mistake this for shyness, but in reality Rika does get along with most people, although she rarely actively seeks social contact. Hisao meets Rika by chance at the school infirmary and the two find something to reflect themselves from in the other. Rika's aloof attitude and ostensible comfort with her condition might challenge Hisao to grow as a person, but trouble arises when unpredictable circumstances take their relationship to a surprising direction...
I'm surprised no one else read this and mentioned Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. The plot is, well, that.

wat. I would never even let a friend of mine who has a higher power level than me know about KS, much less my brother.

You sly SOB's, you had me going there until the Kenji path.

Those alternate characters really do sound interesting, though.

I giggled the whole way through. The ideas, while splendid to a point, were just too plainly unfathomable. I know you guys too well to be caught up in something like that. :P

We both play visual novels, and his college roommate was the one who showed me KS. o.O I never would have gotten into 07th Expansion's stuff if not for my brother, either.
Hell, my girlfriend is playing F/SN after watching the anime. Just a matter of showing people there's a fricking awesome story, not just a bunch of porn.

Loving the shoutout in the reviews. <3 to the devs.

Amusingly, I actually did write those words. It's been so freaking long since I've joined that I barely even remember them.

I'd totally buy it if it existed. But really, nice job, you guys put a lot of effort into it. Made me laugh. Also, the /jp/ review was hilarious

I want a Rika/Saki route D:

Dammit, so caught up in the excitement I didn't think of it as a joke when I knew it was April Fools day.
I didn't think of it as a joke when the Steam page took me to Duke Nukem.
I didn't think of it as a joke when Four Leaf Studios wasn't on my Steam client.

I think the only truth in that blog post was "we are getting closer to game release" :)

I just thought of the best expansion pack you could have added: Katawa Broujo, based off of Richter Bromont's stories, and written by Richter Bromont himself.
