64 Bit Vista compatabilty?

Post by Olink » Fri May 01, 2009 11:37 pm

I was wondering if there was a 64 bit version of the demo, or if anyone has installed it and ran it on a 64-bit platform. i tried running it and the game engine gave me an error telling me it did not have 64 bit support. Thanks

Runs completely fine on my copy of 64-bit Vista. I didn't have to do anything to it.

Somewhat on topic I think.
I'm running Windows 7 currently, and even in compatability mode (windows XP SP2) The game crashes before it even loads, I recieve no errors or anything.
I've tried unintsaling it and installing it 3 times with the same results.
Could it just be Windows 7 not wanting to run it?

Thanks

Working perfectly on Windows 7 here (32bit RC)

Maybe you should check your video drivers.

It worked fine on 64-bit Vista for me, too. Definitely check your video drivers and be sure all of your display software is the 64-bit version.

Running Win7 x64 Beta (Build 7000) here, soon to load up RC1 (Build 7100). Absolutely no problems. I'd say check your drivers. I've only ever had two problems with Win7 so far, and that was fixed by updated drivers (graphics) and having to wait until the developer updated support on their side (Daemon Tools).

Running on Vista 64-bit Home Premium here.

Just update your video card drivers, and you should be fine.
