My canon depends on multiple universes. All the good endings, plus Sisterhood (post Hanako end) by Guest Poster, Weekend at Hisao’s (post Shizune end) by themocaw, ”Can You Open Your Heart?” (Riki route) by Rikabro, A pseudo-pseudo Suzu route (Suzu route) by Scissorlips, and The United States of Misha (Misha, post Shizune good end) by Hoitash.

There may be others later, depending on how they finish up.

I haven't made a firm commitment to a head canon version for post-Rin, Lilly, or Emi. There are some good ones to choose from for Rin, FluffandCrunch's work on Lilly is excellent but contains elements I can't accept for canonical purposes (and it isn't the threesome aspect), and I haven't seen one I really liked for Emi that isn't set eighty-two (yes, eighty-two) years later.

So I'm planning on writing my own Emi continuation.

One element that I frown upon for my personal canon is the idea that Yuuko and Kenji used to date each other. Just don't like that. But it isn't enough to make me reject a story, even for head canon purposes.
I found out about Katawa Shoujo through the forums of Misfile. There, I am the editor of Misfiled Dreams.

Completed: 100%, including bonus picture. Shizune>Emi>Lilly>Hanako>Rin

What a coincidence, so does mine.... maybe?
I think I'd HNG to death before I could ever think about writing such a story... That being said, good luck you two! I'm sure you can make the idea even more horrid than I can already imagine.

Honestly, whats the point in killing off Rin? Not like it would really effect the overall story that much.

Although Emi might be a little sad.

You can't just kill Rin. You have to kill everyone like in that yandere Hanako fanfic where she bakes Hisao into cupcakes and then has the other girls eat them and then she stabs Shizune. Actually, I don't think Rin was in that one.
Fist of the North Star is a strange movie ._.

"you have to try my pie. I really put myself into it." This is why Lilly is normally so hesitant to try her cooking.

Hmm...how to put this in a way that will make sense?

My personal story canon is Hanako's vanilla good ending (vanilla as in - none of the fanfics or such additions, including anything my own mind might cook up happened later or before it). The reason for this is that, in my mind, it just makes the most sense somehow that it'd be her. Hanako, being so very much like Iwanako (not just her outside appearance, but also her personality, at least if you consider Hisao's descriptions of Iwanako as having some merit), just seems like the most likely candidate for whom Hisao would fall for. And the good ending because well...I guess that one's just a bit personal - it's something that needs saying. That if you fall for a person, whom you view as shy and fragile, then it's a damn good bet that you're no better than her. Again, it makes sense for Hisao to be this fragile himself, considering how crushing his hospitalization and relocation was described by him in the intro.

That being said, my idea of the game's canon is solely my own. Just because something makes the most sense to me, doesn't even remotely mean it should for others. In fact I'll go even further - even though I consider Hanako's good ending to be canon, her path is still only my 3rd favourite of the lot. So you could say that my canon version of the game is one that I look upon with a certain measure of fondness indeed, not just because of the emotional involvement, but also because of my rationalization of it...

...but my most favourite route - the Neutral (in an extremely gut-wrenching way) and Good endings (in an extremely elated way) of Rin are ones I really can't view as canon. But in a way that's alright. Because what is canon I view as happening to someone else (or in my specific case someone that I used to be), while what I love the most I can view as happening to me as of right now...in a manner of speaking I suppose...

I found it weird how Hanako joins the newspaper club in Lilly's route but she doesn't do a similar thing in her own route. I suppose after her good ending she could become more social and join a club or something

Exactly. Her arc cuts off way before Lilly comes home. Of course it would be interesting to hear her reason for doing so. Did she join the club out of a desire to expand herself. Or did she feel she was in Lilly and Hisao's way?

Although Emi might be a little sad.
My fic needed a murder victim. It could've been anyone (almost) but Rin got the job. Mostly because I cannot see an armless person as a suspect.

Good enough to chase down, corner, and stab to death a person who would be fighting back with two more limbs than she has? :P
