I may end up re-reading it in a year or two, if I remember. Even then, only the paths I liked most so thats what, Shizune and Lilly?

I definitely will. As weird as it may sound, replaying a VN for me feels like talking to an old friend again. KS is no exception to that, and I'll probably go through all the routes again before the year's out.

I tend to only rewatch and reread things once at least one more time. For me, I keep the experience through the piano pieces I am learning. It is hard to recapture that first time experiencing it feeling so I usually don't play or read something multiple times. Each time has a lesser impact so I just keep the memory with me instead.

Even with a risk of yet another mental breakdown from "the feels", hell yeah. Propably doing somesort of anniversary replays.

I might, I might not. Just depends on how I feel.

I usually replay games I enjoy a lot, and I do like this one, but after you know the story it kind of takes from it. If I do, though, I don't think I'd go for 100% again. I'd just redo the stories.

I kind of hope I forget most of it. I doubt it, but I still hope I do.

Probably will.
I always enjoy revisiting movies and books and the like after a year since it'll always be a slightly different experience as the years change your perspective on many things.

Like *most* everyone else on these forums, I was obssesed with KS for probably a month, even though I ran through all the routes in a weekend and a Monday. Yeah, it was nuts. Right now I'm going through the gam again, slowly, enjoying the story for what it is and not being obsessive over the girls since I've gotten used to them by now.

Im redoing them in order, so: Emi, Shizune, Rin, Hanako, Lilly.
I'm on Rin right now and I HATE myself for going through her path again, Rin is my least favorite. I was so exasperated and irritated going through her the first time, trying to do it again is hell. Im still determined to finish her, but I haven't touched the game in like 2 weeks. I'm at the part where Hisao is going to visit her at that art apartment thingy, the beginning of the really long and pain in the ass part. Ugh.

Well, after this run of all the characters is finished I'll probably shelve (shelf?) the game for a good while.

That's the exact order I did them! Neat. Although Rin's route is actually my favorite.

Good idea. Try out some other visual novels, since KS isn't quite the shining paragon of VNs anyway.
Mmm, crispy!

I am with those 2 as i stated before. I will not spend everyday playing it now that i have 100%, but i will replay it soon (maybe within a month) so i can enjoy the stories without the rush of getting 100%. Just like how i beat Super Mario Brothers 3 and Castlevania Symphony of the Night on a yearly basis, i will now include Katawa Shoujo. Those 3 games are my favorite ever and i will make it my new tradition to beat all 3 atleast once a year.

Favorite Routes in Order: 1. Hanako 2. Lily 3. Emi 4. Kenji 5. Rin 6. Shizune
Game completion: 100% and aiming to still redo everyone's route.
Favorite Girl: Hanako!!!!!!!!

I usually don't ever replay games or reread stories. Katawa Shoujo is the only game or story I've ever played/read twice in rapid succession immediately after discovering it. It connected with me in a way I'd never quite experienced before. I will definitely do another 100% playthrough sometime in the future; probably when I receive my Anime Expo art book later this year.

KS will undoubtedly be something I take in over the years, what I'm most interested in is the future of this community. Right now, it's still pretty fresh on our tongues, but I would love to see the community evolve given time and flourish into something that I can stick with in the time between those re-readings.

Definitely! I'm really the type of person who play games over and over again. However, VN are long to play, but KS is probably one I'll replay, even soon enough. With all the analyze and the fandom I saw, I can see it in a new angle :)

Definitely replaying.
Heck, it's just one month since I finished the game and I already want to replay it now.
