Nor to any certain dimension for that matter.

Also, I sleep on a couch. Not really comfortable either.
And sometimes in a doorframe.
Time to call the Ghostbusters then.

And yay, someone else who is bedless currently.
It's the power of feminism, y'all.

And what do you mean, currently? The couch thing is permanent. xD
The door frame thing, however, seems to become a frequent ocurrence.
Well, currently, I envy you. The couch is infinitely better than the floor. The doorframes.. that I could take or leave (Not sure it'd be any worse though)

Doorframes are surprisingly comfortable, actually.

Apparently, I just made the situation worse, didn't I?
(I hope you will change back your location later, "under your bed.." was more witty in my opinion.)

In regards to sleeping on the floor, I think it's really two arguments in one.
One is soft vs. hard sleeping surface, the other is floor-level vs. raised.

In stiffness, I would take the middle ground. I don't really like overly-soft beds, and currently sleeping on a simple 8cm foam matress (not the memory variant, just the simple one that was available 20 years ago). I never tried it, but I think I would be comfortable with sleeping on a futon. On the other hand, I doubt I would feel confortable with just a blanket on the floor.

Coinsidering height, I don't plan on sleeping on the floor, but I doubt I would have much problem with it, under the right circumstances. (For one, it's winter, and it's cold. For two, dust just accumulates too fast in my room.)

I understand that it's probably a turn of phrase I didn't get, but do you care to elaborate on that?
(I hope it's not because someone locks you out of the house, repeatedly, or anything...)
Hm... surprosingly comfortable, an important bit of advice, if I ever have to choose between one and a bare floor. :P

Well, steering a bit back to the topic,

I just noticed that with the approaching release, chaos pretty much broke out on some parts of the forum, and the devs already had to lock at least 2 threads.

So, I will just behave myself a bit. I don't say I won't say anything if I deem it fun, original or informative, but there is not much reason to just add to all the noise already there. (Note: talking about ways of sleeping is definetley informative, and even have a degree of fun.)

I'll have to bear that in mind... if it beats the floor I'm all for it :)

Well, now that I think about it, we do have a wider doorframe that I could imagine being confortable. (Thankfully, I see no reason to try it out any time soon, or... well... at all.) I can also imagine the temporary pain, numbness, etc. one would get from sleeping in a sitting position.

My mom tends to forget to take the key out of the door, so sometimes I can't get in, despite having a key myself.
And since I usually don't have anything better to do, I sleep. In the doorframe.

Well, yes, left-in keys can be quite a pain sometimes. I imagine most of the time you get home quite late, that you can't/don't wake them up to let you in.

Well, it's way past GMT+1 sleep time, so I'm off to demonstrate sleeping and not just talk about it.

Ah, you wuss. The might of... Erm... I dunno, Bill Bailey and orange juice... Yeah, that stuff can keep you awake indefinitely! It's what I've done over the past day or two...

You are silly people.
Shattering your dreams since '94. I also fought COVID in '20 and '21, and all I got was this lousy forum sig.

And just think, I was arguing at you for the usage of the word freak. Now we share a mutual hatred for the protagonist of Fate/Stay Night. Isn't life strange?

Bonding over mutual hatred is the best kind of bonding.
