I feel like Kenji would be one of the faction of the Adeptus Mechanicus that doesn't really believe in the Emperor.
And cause the Emperor is Shizune it fits.
I'm wondering how some of the other characters would be 40Kified? Like Muto and Nurse... well he would be an apothecary

As much as I see:

Kenji = The Emperor because He is the only hope for MANkind, the whole Katawa Shoujo is a dream he had on the Golden Throne.
Shizune = Inquisitor Ordo Xenos
Misha = Sister of Battle (She is the Emperor Maiden after all)
Rin = Rin is an Avatar of Undivided Chaos ... you know it's true.
Emi = A Tau (She care for your Greater Good)
Lilly = An Eldar (Shizune just hate her because she is a Xenos scum)
Hanako = an Eldar Fire dragon (Yes the Irony).
Hisao = a Guardsman

I did a new sketch with Misha/Hiaso in a situation I found hilariously fitting.

Why does Hiaso get a lame job? I think he'd at least be a Custode or something. BUT it would still fit that hes Horus cause he betrays Kenji for the girls

Because nothing is more awesome than a Guardsman, they got +4 Adamantium Balls after all, only them most baddass in the Universe can fight Eldritch Horrors whit a T-Shirt and a Flashlight.

In alternative:

Hisao = The Emprah
Kenji = Horus (The whole Heresy was to save Hisao from the Woooomeeeeeeen)
Misha = Ghazul Marak Uruk Thraka (WAHAHAAAAAAG)

Well that's what I came up with

In a program like photoshop or gimp or paint.net, you have the advantage of making copies of things and undoing mistakes.

I found a tutorial which will help you make the lines once you get used to using a program, but I'd have to look through my DA account's favs. Last I looked it was messed up. Anyways, you just open a new layer and do work on that. A new layer in the computer program would be like putting see through plastic over your picture and tracing over your pic with a thin sharpie, and you just rub off any mistakes.

Try to use dark pencil, blue lined sheets often do not scan in color, as well as blue colored pencil. Or i'm wrong and color doesn't show up in black/white scans. I haven't drawn in a year.

You make a copy of your scanned pic, then mess with it. Make it really black/white, turn up the contrast so that you really have a distinct presense of where your lines are. Carefully use the line tool or something to recreate the shape of your sketch. Multiple small lines that over lap. Adjust thickness when you want. Use the erase tool on whatever mistakes you want to get rid of. You can then just see that layer, it should just be the black outline on a white/see through background. You can then color how you want.

You can buy a tablet to do your drawings directly into the program, or a tablet pc/laptop to draw right on the screen into the program. It's still possible with a mouse, just get good at the figure drawing. Photoshop, GIMP, and Paint.net are decent programs to use.
