hey that was my idea!

Post by rustyarmor »

first off im not saying anyone is stealing or anything i have come to the conclusion that its pure coincidence
So are a year before KS I ran a D&D campaign and one of the npc's i put in was a girl name Lily Whitesoul (notice only two "L"s not three). "the escort is a young girl with black hair in a thick brown robe. On a leash is a corgi that earlier you benefactor told you named Alex. In the other hand she carrys a staff, but not in a conventional way, its longer than most walking sticks, holding its by its very end and beating it in front of her. You now realize your escort is blind! something your benefactor did not tell you" so how i described her. She stuck with the group for a while as a shaped her personality into something resembling hanako, shy quite but could be caught being secretly cute (HNNNG worthy if you will). Again this was around a year before I heard of KS and I'm not calling idea theft, but it felt weird when I heard of another blind character named "Lilly"

I know how you feel, man. I had this loli character, sorta like Emi personality-wise, named Hanako who had purple hair and totally liked fire. These people are mind readers.

Oh God tell me about it. I was bookmarking the ones I wasn't immediately going to get to, and now I've got a folder with close to 100 of them in it :|

They've got a KS entry, too, in fact.

That's how I found about KS. Actually I first saw it mentioned on the TV Tropes forums before reading its page, and then coming here.

Damnit, Commissar, stop trolling in the troll thread. At this rate, when the troll stack resolves the person at the bottom is going to commit suicide several times over.

Also, how the hell did I find more tropes I haven't read before? Really? They're as elusive as new Nantucket Nectar bottlecap facts these days, but they still exist, damnit. (-.-)

Oh, god, I've been talking too much with the one person I know who's a Magic fanatic. The words are slipping into my vocabulary. D:

I meant it in the sense of a call-stack, actually, but okay, be that way. (-.-)

Ok, we're safe now.

Also, I too found out about KS from TV-Tropes. I love that site soooo much, it's really disgusting. TV-Tropes is my disability.

There is a laconic version of Tropes, just poke around the top part with all the icons. You can cut down on the volume you have to read and just go to the main article for the examples, when you have more time. And, we do all go for the examples....
