Yamaku Scavenger Hunt demo #2: Unreal Engine 4: Electric Boogaloo

Here's a very unfinished Youtube demo of Yamaku Scavenger Hunt, using Unreal Engine 4.

Special thanks to Mike Inel for use of his 3D KS models (very much modified).

The mac version can be downloaded here (375 MB)
https://archive.org/details/YamakuDemo2.app

I'll see about making a PC version; UE4 doesn't cross-compile yet.
The PC version can now be downloaded here (398 MB)

Controls
switch player
F1=Emi
F2=Rin
F3=Hanako
F4=Lilly
F5=Shizune
F6=Misha

WASD keys for movement (W=away from camera, S=towards, A=left, D=right)
Also uparrow=away from camera, downarrow=towards, leftarrow=rotate camera left, rightarrow=rotate camera right
Mouse wheel zoom in/out
click + move mouse turns player
Playing as Lilly is very rudimentary right now.
Hardly any camera intelligence, it clips through pretty much everything.

There is a white flash the first time you click on the game; that's a UE4 bug.

The video is SFW; the game is SFW, unless you look up their skirts, or clip the camera through people, or find the naked pool party.

PS: also try the finished game Donkey Kenj here:

This is pretty interesting, I must say :)
I certainly like Lilly-VisionTM :lol: It'll be interesting to see what you do with this! :D

This looks like it could be wonky fun good times.

I hope I'm not being a complete penis, but it is literally just a little sandbox thing within the 4 walls at the moment isn't it? Otherwise I'm missing something spectacularly! XD

Either way, looks like it could be good fun :) I'll keep an eye out for further developments!

You need to figure out how to get outside.

And dare I ask what is outside? Or is that a secret? :P

My bet is it involves using Rin as a human cannonball, possibly involving using Misha's drills as tension coils and Emi's legs as supports.

Ah, I somehow managed to find the swimming pool. Missed it a few times before I got it.

That's a very nice, if rudimentary, "game" you made, congratulations! Having Lilly's eyes open and close periodically was a nice touch.

I had some fun getting all the girls on the raised square platform. Getting Lilly there was a bit hard, but manageable if you use the other girls to "guide" her there (ironically enough, I used Shizune for that).

I can't figure out how to get outside though, but I did abuse the camera to see through the walls and spotted the pool party and the 'Lady's Lunch', whatever that is supposed to be.

I think "Lady's Luncheon" would sound better, but it's a funny idea regardless. :)
