It was a while sense I played KS but if I remember correctly, some paths seemed longer/shorter than others in terms of when they take place in the year. During what months does the game take place and is it the same for all the girls?

Also, happy birthday TheHivemind!
Most of the story happens between June and August.

To follow up on this (because the Devs have obsessive fans to do all sorts of onerous recordkeeping tasks for them), we have a few marker points throughout the story which place everything roughly together.

In Act 1, there's a scene where Lilly states that it's Fiday, June 8th. That gives us the exact days for Hisao's first week in school. Also, insofar as there's a "canon" year, it's 2007. Working backwards, we note that Hisao says he spent about 4 months in the hospital, so we're looking at his heart attack happening some time in January or February. We also know that Hisao's 18th birthday was sometime during his stay in the hospital (I think the Devs said April 1, because of course they did).

The numbers on the other end are a little fuzzy, but they generally point toward Tanabata being celebrated in August, and happening after exams, during the last week before the Summer Break. Most of the routes (Emi, Rin, Lilly) end right around the time of the Summer Break; Hanako's ends a little earlier. Shizune's is just getting started by then. The whole of Act 3 occurs after Summer Break and "a few months" before graduation. Using the Japanese school year, graduation is in March, meaning that whole sequence likely happens some time in the latter end of Autumn. And, of course, Shizune's route ends with graduation, which falls in March.

I've gone into extensive detail elsewhere, but that's the general skeleton.

Her path does not feel that long. Oh well, if this is the case I guess it makes sense. Did not know the Japanese school year.

Does the story continue along Lillys path, (they go on a trip to her house etc, with some changes), after Hanakos good ending?

You're asking a meaningless question. You've played up to that point, you've seen the credits roll and you've been sent back to the title screen. You know perfectly well that the story doesn't continue past that, as we didn't make it continue past that.

Not counting the original "Core team" of four people, there were about 28-30 people all told.

If you count the really early development (pre-4LS), the amount of contributors is in the hundreds due to how KS began, as an open project from 4chan's /a/ board. But after 4LS was formed, off the top of my head, in addition to the 21 people in the credits there's 8 other people I can remember that were part of the project at some point so crud's number is very accurate.

Lilly's route is rather unique in the sense that rather than having some scenes exclusive to the "bad" route, the "good route" simply cuts off before Hisao has his change of heart rather than branching off into the bad route/bad ending. Were such bad-end exclusive scenes ever considered and then scrapped or was it always meant to be the way it is?
Sisterhood: True Edition. Hanako epilogue I wrote. Now expanded with additional chapters.
