Katawa Shoujo at Mimicon feat. Aura

Post by Aura »

The number of people who care about this is going to be diminishingly small, but I'll just throw it out here. I've been invited as the guest of honor by a Finnish anime convention, Mimicon, on 17-18th May.

I'm going to deliver a talk about the making of KS and community, and there's going to be some sort of live interview type of thing as well. The obvious caveat for most of the forumites is that it's in Finland and the entire thing will be in Finnish. But hey, maybe one of you makes it there.
<Aura> would you squeeze a warm PVC bottle between your thighs and call it "manaka-chan"
<Suriko> I would do it if it wouldn't be so hard to explain to my parents

Will it likely be on Youtube? That said, my level of Finnish is low-level conversational so I doubt I'd be able to understand much of what was going on. Congrats on the invitation anyway :)

Thanks for reminding me that I should finally start learning Finnish, due to the mere fact that one of my favourite bands sings in that language.
And for anyone who goes there, film it, subtitle it and load it up.
K thx bye.

Aw, man. Totally wish I could go there, but unfortunately, I'm stuck in this weird 'America' place.

Finljandia? Njet, Molotoff!

That would be the closest moment I had to KS in my life - less than 850 km.
I guess I won't wash my antennae for a week or two after the event, to keep the afterglow.

Have fun over there without us, and make us jealous. Then it'll all be worthwhile that we missed it.

Oh no, why didn't I notice earlier that Aura will be at Mimicon?! Now I already have promised to be elsewhere and can't come to Mikkeli... it would be only like 200 kilometres away from my home. Well, such is life sometimes.

But Aura~! Since you are Finnish, you will of course be at Tracon, right~?

No, I don't go to anime cons. In fact this is the first one I'll ever go to.

I think it's manageable. So Suomi.
