Thanks for the encouragement guys! Figure after some good practice and learning how everything works, I'll hopefully be able to pull together something decent :P And I figure sticking with it is pretty much my only option at this point as the wife wasn't exactly too overly pleased with the price outcome, so it's either stick with it or face her wrath

One thing that really annoyes me is how people say they "play" KS. You play games and musical instruments. KS is neither

You also play videos and movies. You can play a role. And you can play the fool. :)

Except it is. 8)
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

It has choices that define where you end up at the end. You can lose and you can win.

It's a game.

It's a visual entertainment medium which consists of various characters, a storyline, a setting, a player character given a degree of agency within the setting, and (albeit loose) win/lose conditions. Sounds like a video game to me. My high score is 69. 8)

Also, I read tons of games. Voice-acting in games wasn't always a thing. :P

Incidentally, you've probably been playing too much when you regularly debate whether or not it qualifies as a game.
