Are you sure you read Rin's route?

At no point during Rin's route did I feel any kind of strong emotion. I never felt very happy, nor sad. At most I was confused and annoyed. Sorry :/

Nah, it's fine. Actually, one of the reasons I have for Rin's route not being my favorite is that I also get confused and annoyed, but at Hisao . As I said, I relate to Rin the most, partially because there was a time when I felt a lot like she did. Not so much now, but personal experience for me definitely is a factor in why I find her so magnetic. I understand that not everyone will share that.

Suddenly realizing the only thing darker than hitting a baby with a train is hitting a train with a baby.

OT: Fav route: Hanako's. Rin's route is still the best, by far, but Hanako's is the most replayed of mine.

Who said they didn't?- just not as hard as on Rin's Route.

The problem with your counter-arguement is that you didn't get hit by a Feels-Train (that shall now and forever be a technical term) at all on Rin's route, while they might've got hit by it on Shizune's route, just not as much.
