That's why you don't just shout your age to strangers at random. Also, many adults are also racists so maybe what many adults think isn't so important. :P Luckily at 5'3, I can get away with pretending I'm younger.

I once scared some trick-or-treaters by inviting them in, locking the doors, and putting on The Exorcist. They all eventually caved and ran off...Except one. He stayed until the credits rolled and I gave him a whole pack of Snickers for his badassery.

Well if Emi dressed up as a pirate I would still have no idea it was Halloween because I would assume it's just something she'd do that being said it'd be interesting to see what the girls dress up as.

Motherfucker I am 19 and I'm planning on Trick or Treating.
You are NEVER too old to have fun
I don't understand, you walk around with a sack and get free candy.
Tell me how you would not do this.
22-year old men going around in a silly costume asking for candy when they're adults who can acquire their own food? For someone that age, they have a deeper voice and a more developed figure for creepy voices and more realistic/bigger costumes. Besides, scaring people can be fun as well.

Emi in a pirate costume, going around saying "Pillage or gold." She only needs an eye-patch and appropriate accent, but she should go the extra mile and get a parrot, captain's longcoat, pirate hat, and some henchmen she grabbed from the 2nd year classrooms.
You just lost the game.

Anybody beyond baby years can acquire their own candy. So nobody should ever trick-or-treat. Welp. :P

Now, a question: What would Nomiya and Jigoro have as costumes?

Costumes are for those who are afraid to show their true faces, Jigoro-san has no need of such deceptions. He just walks around with his F**king katana and chops people banana suits to pieces.

I guess I'm just not celebrating Halloween then. GO Canada.
Damnit, no disrespect, but I keep on forgetting about Canada. Side effect of living in a southern state, I guess. :/

I don't know about the religious celebration. Where I live, it basically involves putting on a "scary" costume and going to people's doors, asking for candy by saying "Trick or treat." It's silly, but the costumes can be interesting and the candy is free and tasty. If you don't want to go out trick-or-treating, you can stay inside and offer candy to anyone who comes to your house.

Also, there are generally Halloween decorations. "Scary" faces are carved onto pumpkins, people decorate their houses with stuff like witches and zombies or put fake gravestones on the lawn or whatever. I think you get the idea.
I'm soooooo wanting to go all "History" in this thread...
To be remembered by anyone after death is the goal of basically every soul that's lived in this world.

Obligatory mention of Hanako dressing as Freddy Krueger.

I wonder if Rin could manage to carve a pumpkin...

If we're talking costumes ...

Nomiya will dress as a sterotypical Frenchmen. ... or possible Caesar. I'm not sure which.

Motou will dress as a character from an old TV show that nobody will recognize. (Alternate idea, he tries to be more hip and dresses as an anime character. He ends up in a Lupin the third outfit and nobody realizes he's in costume.)

Jigoro will dress in traditional Japanese clothing and will act insulted whenever anyone even suggests that he's in costume.

Kenji will dress up as Kenshior from Fist of the Northstar, as it's one of the manliest outfits he can think of. He will spend a good portion of the night explaining who he's supposed to be dressed up as.

Rin will be wearing a outfit (spandex body suit? regular coveralls?) that's completely splattered with paint. She'll also have a small picture frame around her neck like some sort of odd necklace. In the event that anyone asks her what she's supposed to be, she'll just say something like "I'm Rin. I' fairly sure we've met before."

As part of a dare they made with each other, Miki will be wearing the pinkest frilliest, girlies princess costume they could find, and Suzu will be dressed as Sleeping Beauty.

Misha will be wearing a Sailor Moon costume, identified in Hisao's narration as "whichever sailor moon character it was that wore the pink outfit. I'm pretty sure one of them wore pink."

Shizune I'm a bit less sure on. I do like the idea of her in a funny clown outfit justifying it as "Halloween is for dressing up as everything that you usually are not." ... but I also like the idea of her in another Sailor Moon style outfit (obviously one much fancier than Misha's) or in a spandex Riddler costume.

Lilly would let Hanako pick their costumes. Lilly would be dressed as Alice and Hanako as the Mad Hatter. The first time anyone suggests that they're wearing couples costumes Hanako will go run off and lock herself in the bathroom.

Yuuko will just wear some cheap store bought costume like a fairy of a bumblebee or something. And she'll wear it on the wrong day.

Hisao ... isn't going to realize he was supposed to go to the party and will have to scrounge up something at the last minute. He'll eventually settle on a medieval knight costume made mostly out of tinfoil and cardboard.

Or he'll just prove Hisao's suspicions right and reveal his Werewolf form. And that he hates Twilight, but loves the Fifty Shades series.

Or crossdress. As Hermione.

No, Emi will be a Pirate, and Rin will be her parrot.
Oddball wrote:Misha ... Sailor Moon costume ... pink."
Shizune ..... spandex Riddler costume.
What? No. NO.

Misha will be a Predator with Pink Drills, and Shizune will be an Alien. With Glasses. And there will be a joke, that "Predators" are actually 'advanced tribal aliens', and that "Aliens" are actually 'giant human-cockroach predators'.

No. Hanako will be in a giant teddy bear costume. And Lilly will be Galadriel.

EDIT: No. No no no. Hanako will be Mio, and Lilly will be Tsumugi.
http://signum.sivis.org/poerr/image/1538.jpg

And Emi will be Azusa.
http://0-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/boar ... 895697.jpg

And they'll start a band. Filled with adorable cuteness and false advertising and constantly cut away just when they're about to play their instruments for all of 5 seconds, or just not bother playing their instruments at all in the entire episode, that goddamn show.

EDIT EDIT:
NO, NO! Hanako will be Alucard! And Lilly will be the Scottish Wolverine from Rome! And Kenji will be Integra! And Yuuko will be the Police Girl! And Katayama will be the butler!

Katayama: Pleasure to meet you. I'm Rika C. Dornez.
Katayama: It is my duty to attend to uninvited guests. And clean up the bloody mess they've made. I also take out the trash. One body-bag.. at a time.
Katayama: Now then, shall we play a game of Cat's Cradle?

And maybe she'll smoke, because someone else seemed to have wrote her that way.
Oddball wrote:Yuuko will just wear some cheap store bought costume like a fairy of a bumblebee or something. And she'll wear it on the wrong day.
Chun-Li. She'll be outside, doing "the moves" to draw in customers.

He's broke. So he'll just go as himself.

EDIT EDIT EDIT:
Akira will be Cloud Strife. Hideaki will be Hatsune Miku.

Is it bad that I could immediately picture Hanako in Mad Hatter garb and it is the cutest goddamn thing in the world?

Yuuko dressed as Chun-Li? Sign me up please.

Obviously, Mutou would go as the Tenth Doctor. No one knows it's supposed to be a costume until he steps into his TARDIS. Which then dematerializes.

Wasn't Mutou's Character inspired by the Tenth Doctor? If that's the case, it would be a hard connection to make.

I'm fairly certain he was at least somewhat inspired by Stu Pickles.
