You have only 2 posts and both of them revived old threads........................y u do dis?
They went in too deep.
Xomy wrote:Well I wouldn't.

1) Except if they make 5 animes, there wouldn't be as much content.
2) The fact that you are playing KS, making choices and the first person narration are for me one of the big reasons KS give so much feels. That would disappear in an anime.
3) I would hate to have the characters voiced. They've all got their voice in my head already so it's like watching a movie adaptation of a book you've read. Things aren't right.
1) Well there have been animes based off of Visual Novels. Some of them are shit (Fate/Stay Night anyone?), but most are good (Majikoi, Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, Clannad, Kanon, Tsukihime).
And then there's School Days

2) Clannad, Clannad: After story. Feels argument = invalid

3) Also, Katawa Shoujo is one of the few Visual Novels I've seen that isn't voiced.
I write take a look, would you kindly?
I also draw, kind of.

I would at least start watching it. Wether I would continue to would depend on the quality and how its done. If it was up to me, it would be Amagami SS style. Each girl get a few episodes (4 or 5, most likely). The studio, if I could get anyone I wanted to do it, would either be Studio Deen (Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok) or Bones (who did FMA and a few others)

Lilly = Hanako, Emi, Rin, Shizune
I fell in love with Lilly and Hanako

You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be your Emiest.

I'd watch it even if it was as bad as Tsukihime or it was nothing but slightly animated drawings. Heck, I'd watch even Touhou-style fan works.

I would most definitely watch it.
Also, it'd probably be one of the stuff I get on 1080p and stuff into my external hard-drive to carry arround with me :P
Even though it won't be as good as the VN, it's KS, which means it's also very unlikely to be really BAD...
And besides, forget everything, I just want more KS.
KS anime means more KS. :D

How would this be done? 5 seasons where you do each girl's route and assumedly get the good endings?

Probably the only reason why I'd watch the anime :P
Everyone hides who they are at least some of their time. Sometimes you bury that part of yourself so deeply that you have to be reminded it's there at all. And sometimes you just want to forget who you are all together.

No.

The VN medium allowed more depth to the reader. I like it much more this way.
I sincerely doubt i would get the same level of attraction if i actualy saw someone talking to the girls.
And knowing anime these days... Forget story and character development. Hello cleavage and fanservice... no ty... Don't ruin my KS experience!

Not every VN to anime adaptions is as bad as School Days (GOD DAMMIT I THOUGHT ABOUT IT). What if Kyoto Animation got their hands on it.

You really have been watching some of those anime huh?
If KS ever got an anime if there was fanservice people would complain that it's taking advantage of disabled girls or something (truthfully I can only see Lilly, Shizune and Misha being the fanservice-y ones too) like that.

Why would anyone vote "No"?

Were they dropped on their head as a mature adult?

It won't be done.
If it were, there would be several possibilities:
a) Choose one path and go with that, like in Tsukihime.
b) Do a bit of every path and put the girl he's going to end up with last like in Kanon or Clannad.
c) Do a few introductory Episodes and then a few Episodes for each path, "reloading" once each is finished, like in Amagami SS.

Each version has drawbacks that would more or less ensure the Anime would suck:
With a) the problem is that KS does not have a canon route, so 80% of all viewers would be disappointed by default.
B) would be very hard, because in most KS routes the main conflict does not even start before the relationship starts. This means that Hisao would be more or less required to start a relationship, solve the problem and then dump the girl for the next - without convenient memory wipes like in The World God Only Knows...
C) would be the most plausible, but I doubt you could fit all story arcs in 5 Episodes each.

Do you call throwing insults like that around "mature"?

Not ure if I'd really watch it... Probably yes, if only to see just how much it sucks.

Depends on the director and the budget, and also quite a bit of luck.

I disagree.
I assume that many people are like me in that, the fact I like one route more than the others, doesn't necessarily mean I dislike any of the other routes.
Lilly is most definitely my favourite, but I would not be disappointed at all if the route chosen for the anime was of Hanako, Emi, Rin or Shizune.
Mirage_GSM wrote: C) would be the most plausible, but I doubt you could fit all story arcs in 5 Episodes each.
Maybe it's possible to merge A and C, like, a season for each path?
I know it's very ambitious and stuff, but... Isn't the idea of a KS anime rather ambitious by itself anyway? :P

I'm dead tired and I can't fall asleep, so forgive me if I said something stupid.

Depends.

If it only had one season but focused on all the girls, most definitely not. I'm sure the poor attempt at telling the story would be atrocious.

Seasons for each girl? Maybe.
