Hanako's good ending. I looked at a chart for the final decision though.

Charts on your first ending? And for Hanako?

That would remove the feels factor for me, but I understand where you're coming from. No one wants to lose our burned companion.

I remember trying to get onto Lilly's route, ended up falling off of a roof.

Sounds like the beginning of a long-winded KS meme. Oh boy.

Speaking of charts, I used charts for nearly every route. I'm not sure why since I'm more of a go-with-the-flow kind of gamer and rarely use walkthroughs, but for some reason, I chose to use charts for KS. I guess I REALLY didn't want to get the bad endings on my first playthrough. I'm not sure if my heart could take the feels the bad endings bring, especially considering my emotional state when I first started playing the game.

Pretty soon, I'm going to go back and complete the routes judging strictly on my own decisions.

I used charts to get 100% of the scenes. For the most part it's pretty easy to guess which choices get you to the good ending, except for maybe Rin's path and possibly Lilly's since it depends on multiple choices.

Also, I used to be a feminist conspiracy theorist like you, but then I fell off a roof.

I mostly just used the chart to figure out "How do I get on so-and-so's path?"

Though a couple times I did double check my own choices just to be sure.

I'm in the same boat. Only path I actually used a flowchart on was Rin's. And that was because my thought pattern is the same as Rin and as such, I was like "I'm probably gonna fuck this up if I trust my gut.".

Rin was the one time I didn't get a good path. I fooled my feelings and ended up with her neutral end where she just walks away at the end.

I watched her bad ending on Youtube and holy crap thats depressing. Of course, like Hanako's bad ending its the result of Hisao being a dumbass.

Emi's is the result of Emi being a stubborn cunt.

Hanako's is the result of Hanako being stupid.

Rin's is the result of, god forbid, wanting to know what the hell someone is talking about.

Here, let me fix that:

Hanako's is the result of Hisao being a clueless dick who barges into her room, keeps pushing her to go somewhere with him, and refuses to leave after she asks him nicely about a half dozen times.

And he's just as clueless with Rin. Can't the guy get it through his thick skull that she has a problem and doesn't know how to communicate properly? Jeez, she said as much how many times during her route?

No mistakes, just different perspectives of the same damn thing.

And I don't blame Hisao for being clueless, especially with Rin. I stopped trying to understand her, and that got me the good end.
