I really, really enjoyed reading that little bit. Your story is enjoyable overall, Thanatos, but I find it really shines in the moments where you make Hisao immensely relatable (at least to me). Hisao's drunken confession was one of those moments, and this car scene was another. In fact, it really reminds me of conversations I had with the girl I'm dating now before we got together. I like to imagine that Hisao and Akira were playing it cool on the outside, but internally quite giddy about that little exchange :)

Anyways I really enjoyed it and will be looking forward to the next chapter

Starving? Ha. Hell no, I'm ravenous. I've been eating parts of my body for support.

Incredible, truly incredible.
We must have more.
I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also was a chasing of the wind. For in such wisdom is much grief; and he who increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorrow.

Pretty much just made this account to comment on this. I've read a lot of fan fics but this is the first time I've felt compelled to comment. This is definitely one of the best things I've ever read. Ever.

You are far more patient than I, for I have already moved to my toes.

Seriously though, take your time. Quality over quantity and what-not.

You type better with your toes than I do with my knuckles. I've never said it before but I like the titles you give your chapters, Thanatos.

Seconded. I sometimes have trouble with titles, and can appreciate the thought and effort that can go into them, so good job :).
