Polish translation group

Post by Painiac »

After seeing first act of game, I has been nicely suprised. So, I want to join, and do job I can do. But, if I'm not mistaken after reading sticked topics, I need Editor and Proofreader as minimum. I don't have seen topics about Polish group; so I maked this very topic for applying to Polish translation group. I haven't experience with fansubbing or similar things, so I don't know if I should be translator; maybe position of Proofreader would be more suitable if somebody more skilled would appear. But I'm sure that I can manage translating.

That is correct. At this time there is no Polish gorup.

If you manage to assemble a team, give me a bell.

Hmmm... count me in I guess.
I don't exactly have any translating experience to show, save for what I've done for my own needs, but I've got a cae if noone [sic!] cares ;)
Having graduated I have loads of free time and translating KS may save from dying out of boredom :D

I remember there was also another guy interesting in translating, feel free to contact him - http://ks.renai.us/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1255

Thanks for the link; I will use it for sure.
Edit no. 1: Wha, he wrote post on guest =o=' I hope that email I found by some miracle is actual.
Edit no. 2: Jaen, without your registering I can't apply our Translation Group. Do something about it.

[polish]No, we troje możemy zacząć tłumaczyć. Uzgodnijmy kto jaką wykonuje pracę, i wysyłam PW do cpl_crud.[/polish]

AFAIR the mail the guy (I've meant this guy - http://ks.renai.us/viewtopic.php?p=8276#p8276) supplied is real ;P

I did register (as Jaen-ni-rin), but wasn't paying too much attention when I did and clicked on "I am 13 or younger" instead of older ~~' So I can't just login unless the admins activate my account...
I've sent an email, but they haven't replied so far... and I don't want to make another email account just to register here.

Of course. But, there's already two users (me and Jaen) whose willing to do translating. So, there's else position of Editor and Proofreader to take. I suggest to choose one of them, somebody have to take this.

[english]I can assure you that it's an arduous job, often boring yet difficult at the same time. From my experience it's best to dedicate some time to translating everyday (30-60 minutes will suffice) as otherwise you may be hard pressed to pick it up again. Regarding my position in the team it is of no consequence to me which task I shall be assigned. It may even be better for me not to take the glamorous position of translator as it will give me more time to work on Haruhi translation. That is of course if someone will explain to me what's the difference between a proofreader and an editor.[/english]

Well, about joining the translation team - Painiac, check out your e-mail ;)

I have been Game Master on Role Playing forums, where I have to spend even 2 hours to write posts for gamers - let's say, about 2 pages A4 daily. So, I think I can manage translating, I have similar experiences.

Also, sir, you can't quote to dave your life - cytat jest nie ze mnie, a z mareviqa ;P[/polgrish]

Anyway, I'm still up for this. If I can't have mah account fixed, then just send me the script through the mail when you get it.

Mam jabbera (karol.szumski@gmail.com) i skype (mareviq).

I can be editor or proofreader if position of transalator is already taken . I just want to spread the words of Katawa-shoujo to the world :D
[Polish] .
