Should the adult content be turned off?

Post by hinata447 »

I am in the middle of my first play though and i was wondering what is everyone's opinon on whether or not i should turn them off. I heard the sex scenes kinda takes away the emotion and it feels unnatural to the story, making them feel unneecessary. But on the other hand I read that it is part of the story and that you should just read it because the devlopers put in it for a reason. So what does everyone think i should do?

BTW no spoilers because i am not done with my first playthrough yet. (It's Hanako if anyone is wondering)

Don't turn them off. They are part of the storyline(s) and in my opinion don't take away any of the emotion.

The choice is mainly for the people who would be offended or really dislike (or aren't allowed) to view adult content. In my opinion unless you are in one of those categories or don't feel comfortable with adult content, leave it enabled.

Unless you're a child (in which case, why don't you lay off KS altogether?) or are very sensitive about sex scenes, leave them on. They add to the story. Only issue I had with them was that as my parents are over these days, I was worried that my mom might suddenly pop up behind me while I was reading such a scene.

I completely disagree with whoever told you that the sex scenes feel unnatural or take away from the emotion.
In fact quite the opposite, on some routes they are very important both to the story and to the feelings the story is trying to convey.

Rin > Emi > Hanako > Shizune > Lilly

Who ever told you this was LYING.

If you turn off the sex scenes, you'll miss character development, some of the more emotional moments, and one of the funniest scenes in the game.

Is it "I want to use your window" or "you know... anal"?

Either one. They're both great.

Nah, leave them turned on. I accidentally left the content turned off once and it's like watching a movie and going to the bathroom without pausing it. And when you come back, you see that a lot of things happened while you were doing your business... The censorship skips a lot of things that are important on the storyline

Those scenes perfectly fit in the story,it doesn't ferl like fap material, but really like the climax of the relationship between two persons who madly love each other.

Katawa Shoujo is considered an eroge, where the H content actually adds to the story.

Enjoy, if it doesn't offend your moral standards too much.

I really don't see why people consider KS an eroge. Do sex scenes in a movie mean that the movie is a porn movie?

If they show genitals some people might call it that
Or at least ask for 18+ rating.
