KS Wont Start.

I put it on the DEP exceptions list to no avail.
Using windows Vista 32-bit.

Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing KS? That has helped some folks with problems in the past.

Short on memory? Programs running on the background or unusual services? Faulty RAM?
It could be a lot of different things. I use Vista 32bit myself and have no problem with it.

The issue, so far as I can see, seems to be some erroneous look up in memory that occurs when you try to access the file. Reinstalling might help, otherwise I'd imagine it's a Vista issue.

Well I downloaded KS but it will not start up. I use Windows Vista Basic 32-bit OS just says KS Act 1 has stopped working and I tried everything I can think of to fix it. Can someone help me fix this problem?

Now that I think about it, doesn't Vista have some issue with programs writing to their own Program Files directory? It might be something with that when the game tries to create its save file.
