Is it meant to close during the Kenji ending?

Post by Teclo »

As the title says, I just got the Kenji ending and whenHisao falls off the building and it goes red KS just closed. Is that an intentional thing? It's quite effective if it is. On the other hand, it seems unintentional because the Library hasn't been updated and the "don't skip unread text" option is stopping for text I read on that playthrough.

Any closing is a glitch. For me, it occured several times =,=' not only in Kenji's route. You should find txt file regarding glitch in game folder.

Yeah, I replayed through his route again and it didn't crash this time. It actually seemed kinda cool, like the ultimate Bad End.

Kind of reminds me of the old Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure. At one point you do some time travel - screw it up, and the game boots your hindquarters back to DOS mid-sentence.

I'm sure he walks away with just a few cuts and bruises and maybe his head bent at an odd angle.

I actually have a problem with the game closing (though it wasn't with the kenji ending, it was with the Hanako ending). it happens a few seconds into the credits, They will be running, then suddenly the entire game will will close and open up notepad with the text:
I'm sorry, but an exception occured while executing your Ren'Py
script.

Yep, Hisao is dead. Grab his wallet and let the game credits roll.

It made me think of what happens at the end of Eversion. (Anyone who's made it through Eversion knows what I'm talking about.)

Probably because I know nothing f old-school text adventures.

As for Hisao being dead... Well, I can't see how he'd survive that.
