People tend to like it when stories involve someone like themselves, and how many stories have (human) characters with no arms? Not a lot. There's even a review of KS on the web where the reviewer has exactly the same problem as Hisao.

And when Katawa Shoujo has been released (hopfully this year), they will later release a DLC! YAY!
New Content
- 10 new hats for each girl.
- Christmas outfits for each girl has been added.
- Fully customized main character.
- Kenjis point of view has been added.
- A secret path has been added.
- Now in full 3D.
