If someone posted "open-source" compilation files, he did so against the license of KS.

Regarding Miki fanart, you can look in the Shimmie here on this page but if you want to repost anything on your page you should PM the individual artist for permission.

Sorry about that. It was not meant to promote it like that.

And thanks. I am new on this forum, and just wanted to show my gratitude.
I was just trying to make a website for this fan-fic (even though it could be posted on other websites as well).

But anyways hopefully I did not come out with a bad impression of me XD.

And thanks for the shimmie recommendation.
Let me introduce myself quickly:
I played the game when it was first released, and did not touched it since then. (I usually only play one route).
But I found this and it made me play it again. I wanted to make a danish translation of it some time ago, and I contacted them on, but they were not looking for a translation at that time.
I was always fascinated by how this game was made in ren'py and wanted to do it myself. I have made some small projects.
I am trying to learn programming, both back-end and front-end. So hopefully this "Miki Path" website will be more interactive, and more complete.
My site where you can read the Miki route:
http://hamun.internet-guiden.dk/katawashoujomiki/
If you have any fanart of Miki I would like to use them on my website.

Is it just me, or is Miki and Suzu's relationship actually really unhealthily codependent?

O_O

weee spoke true! A Miki path! With lovely Miki and everything!

Thanks, Suriko! (and Nicol and weee!)

EDIT: Just finished reading the Hisao path. I didn't need to fall in love with another KS girl, Suriko! Damn it, now I need to get a Miki bar for my signature...

Carefree Days makes me feel like I'm chilling at a French restaurant or summat like that, I wonder if there is more concept tracks.

If you like that song you should check out the composer's new album, Past Present. No French cafe-style music there, but plenty of hauntingly beautiful, Chopinesque compositions. :)

Holy shitballs, this happened. Holy flying pigs, Batman.

All right, this is pretty amazing, and we're all happy for it, but I'm gonna be that guy and say it still needed a proofreading. I've proofread the Common Path and a bit of the Hisao Branch. It's a bit long for a post, so I attached what I've found so far. Hopefully, you don't mind.

So far, it's been a great read. The cafeteria scene in Common 04 cracked me up quite a bit. Common 05 was especially touching, especially towards the end in Suzu's room. That was some very interesting development. I'm reading the Hisao Branch first because I want to save the Suzu Branch for last because of that.

It was odd reading this as a simple Python script; I briefly wondered if it really is supposed to be read on Notepad or if it were supposed to be implemented with Ren'Py somehow, but then commonsense happened.

I just had one question, about the new track release: Is it Miki's (unofficial) theme, or something else? Did Nicol just feel like making a song to go along with the fic?

I know it's already been said, but thanks for posting this and writing it.

One last thing: May I be the one to note how quaint it is to read the narration of plainspoken Miki as written by the (some have said) most flowery of the 4LS writers?

Yeah, I was asked by Suriko to write a Miki theme. Originally I just called the track "Miki's Theme" but he came up with a much better name.

It reminds me a lot of "Daylight". Is that on purpose?

Yes. It's based on a motif from Daylight, and also uses the same guitar and bass samples, much in the same way other KS tracks use the same theme.

NO!
Don't look into his eyes. He hasn't seen light in years, god knows if he's still mentally stable.

Also it's a bit tedious reading this in notepad, what with the constant scrolling to the right and stuff. Any other ways of reading that make it easier?

EDIT: I have found the wonders of a program called Microsoft Word.. strange device, it is..
ooooh feels.
