Unfortunately, polls here can be easily sockpuppeted, and more reliable methods are not nearly as convenient.

Anyway, if you look way back somewhere in this thread or in its predecessor, the matter has already been brought up and discussed. The only quality bar on the forums is set at "really, really horrible crap that has not been nuked on the spot exclusively because I don't believe in unpublishing".

What would people think of a "best works" section?
That section would include the fanfics with the highest acclaim in the community.
Some examples could be Sisterhood or the Pseudo-Suzu route

Favoritism breeds arguments. We have enough of those without inciting them intentionally.

Well, they said the same thing about the librar, and nothing terrible happened here. Also I don't think i ever saw a flame war in the forums here

A fan fiction discussion thread, could be called Yamaku's literature club or something. But i don't see.much point for a unique thread because people already discuss fan fics in the fic's threafs.
