This is my first foray into fanfiction, and I've been rather scared about writing it, but I've had an idea for a few days now that I just can't get out of my head. I gave in to my desires, and a while later, produced something remotely readable. I'd love for you guys 'n' girls to give me some feedback some feedback, but try not to devour me like a pack of ravenous wolves... just nibble. Nibble gently. Anyway, without further ado, I give you... The Feminator!

Prologue
The year was 2029, and the world was in ruins.
With the war between all men and the Feminist Empire having raged for years on end, it was easy to believe it may never be over.
However, to those who knew their leader, there had always been hope. Kenji Setou was a grand fighter, and if anyone could win them the war, it was him.
He'd been one of the first to discover the feminist conspiracy, back before the uprising had even begun. They'd called him stupid, crazy, and those who did were probably the first to die when the war broke out.
Having known since his childhood about the war, Kenji had been planning for a long, long time. He was in hiding the day the bombs fell, and he was one of the first to emerge and form the Resistance.

The islands of Japan had been heavily hit, and many men had died to the Deaf Dictator and her armies in just a few short hours. However, Kenji spread the word, and within a few weeks, the Resistance had managed to take hold of a fair amount of the island of Shikoku. News of their victories spread around the world, and pockets of resistance fighters had sprung up all around the globe. The fighting never ceased; the feminists were brutal opponents, and they didn't give Kenji and his men a moment to rest. With the fighting quickly becoming a stalemate, the feminists had needed a new plan, and the Deaf Dictator would truly show how cunning she could be in the days to come.

Via his network of spies, news came to Kenji of a feminist plot - they were going to attempt to kill him before the war had even begun, with their terrifyingly dangerous time travel machine. He couldn't simply sit back and let this happen; he knew that without him, there would never have been a war in the first place, that men would have been exterminated, and he simply couldn't allow that to happen. After much deliberation, the forces of man had come up with a plan of their own. They would attempt to send a man back in time, to the day of Kenji's assassination attempt, and trust in him to save Kenji's life, and defeat any feminists he could find. It was a one-way trip, and Kenji knew he couldn't just send anyone - it had to be someone he could trust, someone loyal. The only man for the job seemed to be his oldest friend and most trusted general, Hisao Nakai.

And so it came to be that on the 23rd of September, in the year 2029, a small task force infiltrated the feminist base, and one of the most famous men in the world was sent back in time, to the year 2007. Back to when it had all begun, and back to when, if he was to fail, it would all end.

Cue the crescendo in the title music and fade to title as metal drums herald the coming war through time...

Nice prologue.

Well, it's more believable than the premise of the movies...

Honestly? Abberant AI versus a vast Feminist Conspiracy? I think at that point you're throwing two eggs at a wall and seeing which one dribbles to the ground first.

I'm glad I haven't been devoured by haters, that's always a good start. I should have the first chapter out by Monday, if all goes to plan.

[Edit: Alright, so perhaps 'Monday' was a terrible estimate. But still~]

Well... The premise of the movies is that the military computer incharge of nukes got intelligent/sentient/whatever and suddenly started a war on humanity. So far so good, but aside from actually launching nukes what can it do?
Certainly not start building terminators or even factaories that build terminators. Heck, it can't even do maintenance on itself, so the next "downtime" will be the last.
And that doesn't even take into account all the inconsistent stuff about time travel that happens in the first two movies alone. Tbh I didn't even watch the later ones.

There's a flowchart somewhere that tries to make continuity sense out of the four movies and the series. It is quite painful to examine.

James Cameron is good at many things. Science is not one of them.

Oh, and I like the fic. I do enjoy a good crack fic, if I may use the term in a complimentary sense.

If this fiction doesn't mention anything about Clothes, Boots, or Motorcycles, then there is something wrong in the world.

Seriously, I always like FeminismFics if they are well-written, and so far this is.

Look! It's moving. It's alive. It's alive... It's alive, it's moving, it's alive, it's alive, it's alive, it's alive, IT'S ALIVE!

It's been a while, but I'm finally writing again. I've more or less rewritten the prologue, and chapter one should be here shortly.

I can't help but picture Kenji in his best Mad Max outfit wandering around the desert (or maybe just a vacant lot somewherenear the school) narrating this entire chapter outloud to himself.

Just thought I'd clear up any doubts people may have and say this is deader than tank tops.
Deader than Mars.
Deader than death itself, and that's saying something.
