You'd be surprised actually. I had quite a few people who never posted in the forum before reply in my fanfic's post to tell me they enjoyed the story. At first I wondered where those 1-post users were coming from. It turned out several of them followed the link from the fanfic recommendation section of KS's TVTropes page. It's a good place to start, no doubt. It's far from a comprehensive list of even the good fanfics on this board, let alone the ones that are at least readable.
