i want to play, but i can't open the file

I have download the game recently, and i really want to play this game but i can't... I downloaded it from the official website, and it gives me link to download from torrent. After i finished download the game, my computer doesn't recognize the file (when i open it, my computer ask me "how do you want to open this file?" and give me some option), and i can't play it right away.. what should i do?

please help me
(btw i'm using windows 8)

Have you put it through something like BitTorrent or WinZip yet?
Because green eyes are best eyes.

The only thing I can think of is maybe you don't have uTorrent installed :L

i have, it finished a few hours ago... should i download the act 1 or not to play the game?

First of all, are you sure you have the correct file? The installation file for Windows is named [4ls]_katawa_shoujo_1.1-[windows][8AACDD32].exe and it has a size of 433.840 KB.

If something does not match, then your download is likely corrupt.
