The game doesn't answer

Hello I got a problem with my Katawa Shoujo. I can launch the game and start it, even play for a bit. But when he gets his heartattack, it freezes and the game doesn't answer. I have uninstalled it, downloaded it again and re-installed but that's it. My PC should be able to run this game, as my friend who has the same type of PC can run the game. So that shouldn't be the problem... but I really don't know.
Anyone who can help me?
