Game not working properly on Mac

Hello, I recently downloaded Katawa Shoujo on my Mac (macOS Sierra 10.12, by the way), but when I booted up the game the intro didn't play and there was no audio. I already checked other tabs with audio and they worked just fine, and I used the audio test in the settings and tried to play music in the jukebox but there was still no audio. Can someone please help? Thanks!
