Hey guys, I've been working on promotion for this EP, which is why I haven't come out with any new material. That, and Rin is really hard to write a song for :(

Anyway, there are a few links you can follow for updates.

How's the Rin track going? I've tried writing a Rin track a few times, and yeah, it's difficult. I think I tried to make it so it initially seemed confusing, but everything fell into place after a while, or at least to the listener it sounds more normal (I tried to figure out a riff in 13/8, I actually did come up with something but then I tried writing a drum track to it and got pissed off.)
If you're stuck for ideas, maybe you could try something like that? I'm not sure how well obscure time signatures work with EDM mind, or if you'd want to work with them, but it's a thought :)

New Shizune Video!

Sorry fro the wait, I've just been working on another project. I've got a rough idea of what I want Rin to sound like, though, so I'm hoping to have her out within the next week.

That's pretty cool, turns out listening to it while using headphones improves the experience as well :D
By the way, your beard is impressive :3

New Hanako = Amazing. It's got the pacing all right and... Well, while I wouldn't quite associate it with Hanako at first listen, it's still amazing as a regular piece of music and when you start noticing the connections.

1:10 is when the awesome truly begins, though, good job on that. The sudden shift at 1:35 is also very nice for the ears.

Overall, stellar improvements. Only complaint is the very sudden ending.

So, I'm taking it you got the "Call and Response" thing I was trying to do.

What else did you notice?

Anyway, sorry for the quick post, it's been 2 weeks since I wrote Hanako Drumstep and I can't remember my own thought processes, only thing I remember is telling my father about how Hanako is, and then he just tells me to have a sort of fight in the song. The grimy bass is her distrust, and the widdly bits are hope.

Anyway, Rin!

I had to utilise the help of drugs and a time machine to make this, so I hope my tactics don't produce dire consequences.

Not gonna lie, I did notice a 3-winged butterfly flying around earlier, anything to do with you? :P

About to show my EDM-noobishness, but I presume that was trance music for Rin's? I suppose that the general premise would make sense when attributed to Rin (though acid jazz still would have worked better imho ;) ) 'Twas good though, and the fade out was great - your little melodies are seemingly generally neat!

Acid Jazz, huh?

I might make a darker Rin that is acid jazz, maybe xD Don't count on that, though. Been listening to way too many Armin Van Buuren and Nicky Romero songs to stop making Rin trance. Hey, she asked Hisao and Lilly for drugs, didn't she? Trance is drugs. xD

Also, Trance is melodies. That's another thing you got to think about when trancing around everywhere: It's gotta be cinematic and it's gotta be melodic as hell.

By the way, I always thought of Rin as a sort of trance type person. Psytrance, maybe, but trance overall.

Now there's only Emi to do... crap...

No, gabber is just distorted kicks and white noise. That's not Emi at all.

Thanks for the suggestion, though! :)

Sir, would you mind if I called an airstrike of solid YES and MUCH WANT on your house?

Hanako: Awesome tawesome. Doesn't really sound so Hanakoish to me, but the music itself is one of my favourites. And, it's on YouTube! Yay!

Painful History remix: Now HERE is a perfect blend of classic Painful History feels along with some electronic thrown in. Can't wait for the full version.
