What if Katawa Shoujo was a Japanese eroge made in 1995?

Post by Valjean Lafitte »

Presenting "Crippled Lovers", a little video I put together that parodies/mashes up Katawa Shoujo with a certain badly-translated visual novel from the DOS era (warning: NSFW):

Edit: Part 2 is out, featuring all the other girls:

This was hilarious :P The music was a really nice touch, and the jellyfish part was just great! How long did it take you to make?

I actually saw this shared on facebook before I found it on here...

Just goes to show how little I check the Fan Works main forum, haha.

It's good though! I was a little skeptical when I saw the thumbnail, but then when I watched it I was impressed. Especially with the way the graphics are converted into shitty DOS format, well done ;)

this is amazing
I laughed so hard at the true love interface and the horribad 1995 writing, you captured the translation really well. Bonus points on destroying the depths of every character we came to care and love

Thanks! I really tried to capture the shallowness of late 90's eroges, True Love in particular. Glad you liked it. :D

This is fucking awesome.
The image quality, the dialogue, the layout, the music, the grammar so vile that it miraculously gives Queen Liz a fuckin' hernia purely through degradation of the English Language, fucking EVERYTHING.

I love you.

 Love you too, Munch. I'm so glad you enjoyed it--I was worried no one would like it as much as the first! :)

Ze pun, she has been made! I really hope that was intentional, anyway.

I like how all the stats on the side are maxed out, makes it look like the "player" is cheating like it's going out of style.
