Alpha tester application thread

If you want to apply as an alpha tester, post here. Remember the criteria:

* Must not be a part of the current development team.
* Must not have read or have access to the development section of the boards.
* Must be able to give instant response to us about a bug, or any overall game problem that one may have.
* Must have a lot of free time to do lots of playthroughs.
* Must not leak the alpha version.

Not everyone who applies may be chosen, so keep that in mind. In order to help make our selection, I'll have to ask you a few questions. They can be tough or easy depending on how many applicants there are. Specifically I'll be asking about the KS Grid 1+ nonexistent leaked alpha from last year, so if you really want to alpha test, you may want to go through that again and make some alpha testing-type notes and be ready to present them to me.

Must have a lot of free time to do lots of playthroughs.
How much is a lot? Is 2 hours per day a lot, or 4, or 6?

Something like a fulltime job kind of job could work (ala 40-50 hours a week total). But that's just me.

I'd like to help too, if you can't get enough people who know what they're doing.

Hello, I'd love to help alpha test your game. I play a lot of visual novels and I'm not currently on the development team, and I have a lot of free time due to Spring Break. I hope to hear from you.

I would also like to apply, I have approximately 5-8 hours of free time a day and I'm usually quite active and can test anything at a moment's notice...

I use windows XP X64 and Linux Ubuntu...

Hm, I'm thinking that I'll start sorting you guys out around next Thursday.

Also, Mac and Linux users get bonus points and are more likely to become alpha testers.

I have absolutely no life and will likely spend all time outside of school doing this. Also, I have a tendency to try everything possible in a game and break it somehow...
Also, I suppose I just like thinking I helped someone and I'll feel less like the selfish bastard I am.

Oh, before you apply, make sure you register on the boards. Going on the IRC channel would also be helpful as well so we can get to know you.

Hello, I'd like to become a alpha tester. I have nothing to do during the day and would like to help as much as possible. I shall wait for your reply.

Edit: Oh, and I'm currently using Windows XP.

Oh, I'm ALL OVER THIS. And Mac, Mac version, you say? You jsut became my heroes.

I already do this for a living at M$. Of course, I'm going to need to do a quick reformat of the comp... but no big deal.

Give me a copy, and I'll break that thing six ways to sunday. I LIVE FOR THIS.

EDIT - I should probably mention that I have both PowerPC macs and intel, just in case.
