Hey,

I played the demo and it was great. I love the idea of a game with disabled womens. And I wanted to see if you guys have any more positions open on the art side of things. Costume design, character design, whatever has to do with drawing. Here are some samples that have to do with the project. If you guys want any other samples (it'll be unrelated art though) just let me know. I drew and colored the character, but the background I snagged from Yume Miru Kusuri so I take no credit for it. I also used it as a template for the word boxes. Great game ^_^ Oh and the art I did is based off of Raita's original concepts. I had started working on it for fun before I found out there was a demo I could play (and before I found out you had your own designs set up in the demo).

Thanks for your time guys.

Definitely would like to see your other work as well so if you have an online gallery or anything like that, do post the link.

As for the position, the game needs a lot of character/CG art and we currently have only one artist doing it, placing a huge workload on her. On the other hand the art, most of all, would need to be as uniform as possible, which may or may not be hard with two artists.

I suggest getting to our irc channel, #zettai-shoujou@irc.rizon.net

An alternative that may work is doing something similar to what we're doing with the paths; have one artist do some characters and another do others.

Another option is having one artist being the "sprite" artist whilst the other is the "CG" artsit, however I can see that causing friction...

I'm sure that we can work things out though.

Thanks for the response!

I'm sure we can work things out. I don't mind being the sprite artist unless the other artist wanted to be. Or we can attempt to split the work. I'm sure we can figure out a uniform style if we work at it. Whatever you guys decide, I'm pretty flexible. It pains me to admit it but i'm very irc illiterate. Is there any alternate way we can talk? My primary source of contact would be msn messenger. The address for that is:

pear_e@hotmail.com

If you guys usually use another messenger I can try installing it and go from there. I have yahoo and aim accts, but I don't have the messenger installed.I can try irc again, but I can't guarentee good results lol. It's been a loooooooooonnnnnnggggggg time since I've touched it.

Before I forget, that msn e-mail is ONLY for the messenger. I haven't checked the e-mail address in years. If you want to e-mail me you can reach me at the e-mail address listed on my deviantart site. Thanks again ^_^

Irc is not hard to use, and apart from from forums no other means of communication is used throughout the entire dev team.

hi, I'm the person in charge of the art, but I'd REALLY appreciate some help. we've been discussing this on irc, and the better way to keep a consistent artstyle for the game would be to collaborate on all the drawings. Ideally, I would do the sketches, and then you'd finish them. So, as a test run of how would be the workflow, I would like to see what you can do with one of my drawings.

you dont have to, but if you want you can do a couple of samples more. I have more unfinished drawings on my deviant. not project related art, but those would also work good as samples. http://www.shurelia.deviantart.com

I thought I'd post here to update you guys. I tried talking on the IRC but I guess everyone was into their writing and planning so they didn't respond to me. I got put in the hospital this past weekend and had some surgery done. They let me go home but this week I have to take a bunch of antibiotics and other fun drugs. Which means I'm going to be really slow for the week. But I'll try to get you guys some finished samples next week (or at least as soon as possible) so you can determine if I have what it takes to be cool like you  I already talked to the head artist and let her know and we've talked about it. So I just want to make sure everyone else knows what's going on. I know you probably don't care until you see some more work from me. So i'll try to make you proud and prove my worth!*tries to look noble and determined*

What is it with staff members, specifically artists, and hospitals? Didn`t the original artist get hospitalised?

I mean, I know you guys want to get into the right frame of mind but don`t take `Break a leg` too literally now.

Art isn't bad at all. If you can follow Syu's art to the subtle details, you should be her assistant.

Well I DID hear a voice keep going "i'm sorry i'm sorry" while I was in the hospital bed. Was that possibly Oyashiro-sama......? I knew I shouldn't have left the old village i used to live in. What was the name of it?

Anyways thanks guys. I'm trying my best in between the meds they gave me to see if I can follow up on Syu's greatness and assist her. We'll see how things go come next week.
