But we all know that Kenji loves his whisky too... so 'Scotch Game' might've meant something different to him!

I went for Hanako being enough of a chess scholar to
use a chess game from 1950 to
break up with Hisao, essentially, in a fic I did.
The
entire chess game. And then some, because Hisao really is one stubborn dumbass.

here's the chapter in which the chess game happens in. I'm not satisfied with how I ended my own story, though, really...
