As someone who is absurdly uncomfortable with heights - or, rather, being able to see the drop distance - I cannot ride a coaster with open eyes (also if you stare off to the side as it's in motion, shit just looks crazy and nauseating). It's a jarring and hellish sensation even without sight.

Kenji has no issue with "feminists" or anything. In fact, his father is an actual paranoid lunatic and Kenji has just been forced into faking similar delusions for so long (for family's sake) that he can't ever fully turn it off anymore. His drinking is a coping mechanism for deep resentment and irritation while his seemingly solitary reclusion in the dorms is actually spent in the company of secret friend and fellow pizza fanatic Molly Kapur.
