First off: Akira and Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. Tell me you couldn't see those two chilling together in some dive bar.
Secondly: Hanako and Blake Belladonna from RWBY. Both are introverted bookworms, both have long dark hair, both have a physical feature they try to hide, both have been ostracized because of that feature, and both are teamed up with tall, outgoing, bosomy blondes. They even have similar builds. But none of that is the real reason for this ship. The real reason is for the ship name: Blake 'n Bacon. (I make no apologies.)

On the subject of being cruel to characters:
Kousei Arima x Saki
Because having that kid go through one doomed relationship just isn't enough
And, because I've been watching
way too much Log Horizon:
Shiroe x Shizune
Because villains in glasses need to stick together (and them playing Risk together would be hilarious)

Nomiya x Master Xehanort. Why? They both have grey hair, and with a slight wardrobe change, Nomiya wouldn't look at all out of place in Real Organization XIII.
