Don't want to derail this though, as general as it is, so anybody doing anything relevant to what one of the girls might especially like for the occasion?
Hi Spunky! Welcome back, even if only just dropping in. Am working on a story arc about what Emi's relationships were like before she met Hisao, but not just for V-Day. :)
Interesting... I thought she only had one big failure one, though. Were there others that she mentions?

Also, quick update, zero progress on Shizune because I'm a lazy turd, but I might be getting around to my yearly update for Limbless Wonders if I can get around to it. College is a killjoy sometimes... hope Hisao's ready, because especially as a science major, it's gonna hit him like a brick if he's not.

Ah, sorry, I mean her relationships with other people in her 3.4 class (all we know is that Rin is her classmate, so I invented a whole class full of students). And also with one guy, sort of. :) Glad to hear there'll be more from you!

Oh, very cool then, that'd be neat to read about. And thanks. Nothing is definite, but I have what I think is a pretty decent concept for Lilly as a psychic control freak bent on getting the whole school to promise never to abandon her- at the expense of their free will.

Alright, kids, I need your help.

I'm going Eurogamer this year and I'll be cosplaying again. This year, however, thanks to my increased muscular mass, scraggly beard and hairy treetrunk-legs, I've decided to cosplay as one of the Katawas. Because why the fuck not.

I need your advices. Who should I cosplay as and why? And even better, does anyone know where I can buy a shirt like they have as their uniform? Or even what it's called, those weird, puffy shoulder things.

Cheers, lads!

Mother/Daughter activity for Emi: Lego Prosthetic Legs...
I like all the girls in KS, but empathize with Hanako the most.

There's something very sinister about Emi. I don't just mean her tragic backstory; I mean deadly-assassin-who-knows-too-much sinister. Across multiple different routes, she's portrayed as someone very dangerous and very knowledgeable.

She's pretty familiar with Lily, Hanako, Shizune, and Hanako. There's scenes in Act 1 (such as when you meet Emi leaving the class with Lily+Hanako) where Lily clearly knows Emi and her habits and does not seem overly pleased with her presence. Emi is (was?) close enough to them to know about their tea-related activities, which are not exactly common knowledge. What worries me even more is that she knows Misha's deepest secret, which not even Hisao learns for quite some time in Shizune's route.

Speaking of Misha, Hisao comments that her stealth abilities are comparable to Misha's, who was able to sneak up on Hisao to get within striking range without him even realizing in Act 1.

This brings me to my final point: Kenji. Yes, Kenji is a paranoid raving fear-monger, but even on his scale, Emi ranks as extremely dangerous. In any route he warns Hisao about the dangers of spending time around feminist agents, but nothing matches the sheer terror of his reaction to Emi.

Not that this is unjustified. Remember Nurse's warning to Hisao about his heart? No overexertion, and especially do not get hit in the chest. And what does Emi do? They first meet with Emi colliding full-speed into Hisao's chest, in what could have only been a failed hit attempt.

Where does this leave us? Considering the evidence, most conclusions to be drawn are pretty scary. She's intimately familiar with the other main girls, boasts incredible stealth capabilities (not to mention her near-superhuman physical ability), nearly kills Hisao in their first encounter, and one of Kenji's most feared people.

tl;dr Emi is a powerful feminist agent who has betrayed all the other main girls (besides Rin?), possibly by going rogue. However, she still remains a highly dangerous killer that knows too much and has the strength to back it up.

I completely agree. Now someone has to write that fanfic.

I believe Rin is her controller, actually. She's better than Emi at acting innocent or innocuous. She could probably kill with a single savaté kick.

What do you think The Death of Hisao Nakai is about? :)
Kenji is wholeheartedly convinced that Emi is the most powerful, dangerous feminist on campus, but truth is sometimes stranger than paranoid delusion...

Well... this is indeed the season to necro my old story [here]. :D

That piece also sheds some (sinister) light on my 'Kenji suspects Emi' story [here]...

I remember the latter (what Kenji does at the end is so sweet), but... that Rin story...

I was practising for my Suzu-becomes-an-assassin arc. :)

With my new HTC Vive set up, I decided to do a portrait of Rin in Google's fancy new 3D Art Studio, Tilt Brush.

What do you all think? ;)
