Really, that would work so well as a SMW ROMhack.

(Not sure how the sprites are encoded in SMW, though, and the Boo sprites would be tricky with the long hair...

The word 'AFRAID' is in her burn scars. That's the point of 'I'm so afraid'. It's like a literal representation of idioms like 'I can see it written on your face'.

That makes sense, because the burns/scars are on the left hand side of her body, unlike the canon right hand side…
