Artwork of Lilly pointing her eyes in a direction is probably because-
A: Her staring off blankly into space would look silly.
B: It'd be fucking creepy if she didn't.
B-B-But that's kinda what I want :c I'm all for unforgiving realism.
People seem to want to ignore that most of the time, her eyes would indeed look straight forward.

That doesn't follow, though. The blind (even from birth) could still be able move their eyes in their sockets; the muscles are still functional. They could even tell (with very low precision) where they're pointed, since they can feel the movement of the eyeballs themselves. With practice, I have no doubt a good-enough simulation of "looking vaguely at" someone could be done, if desired.

More to the point, Lilly actually does this in the game…
NB: none of the above is a request

Judging from the perspective, someone is in dire need of medical attention.

Took me a few seconds to realise Rin wasn't at the bottom of a river bed wearing concrete shoes.

Assuming she was at the bottom of a river/sea/lake/pond/ocean, I imagine her feet would be nestled within the weird gelatinous mass of a couple of jellyfish, crawling about on their weird tentacles to transport her.

...Headcanon: Rin is Aquaman.
