Am I right in thinking that if Rin is actually 'Reen', wouldn't Lilly be 'Reeree'?
or is that just me being inadvertantly racist

Wouldn't that make her Leelee instead, by that logic?

Don't the japanese have difficulty pronouncing 'L' noises like we do?
Kinda like how the French have a hard time pronouncing our 'H's?

I thought they replaced the R sounds with L and vice versa, like how in Arabic B replaces P

I think so, but I thought you meant how westerners would pronounce it, probably because I'm an ethnocentric dick without even realizing it, apparently.
Wait, is Reen the actual pronunciation, or just how the Japanese pronounce it?

Because it's not the
actual pronunciation if it's foreigners.

Thaaaat maybe was accidentally racist.
But yeah, it's the Japanese version. So presumably, within KS, it is "Reen" but it still sounds hopelessly dumb so no, it's not "Reen". >.>
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Well, I'm going on pronunciation based on how I'd read the word in my own working class accent, so I'm voting Rin.
Plus this makes the whole Rin in a Bin meme work

Also, Japanese words are written phonetically, so it would be Rin

Hot Button Topic
Cause an extended debate over whether "Rin" rhymes with "Bin" or "Preen".

As pronounced by a Japanese person who isn't really trying? Yes. The name itself? No. It's not a Japanese name.

So I'll be saying "Rin" like "bin" then.
And hey, I acknowledged that I might be an ethnocentric dick by accident sometimes... so oops.

Nobody gonna troll and try and argue it's pronounced "Rine" (rhyming with "Wine")? :p

My name is Rinus Torvalds, and I pronounce Rinux as Rinux
Convince Rin to do her artwork on a Linux machine, using The GIMP.
