...You do not strip to your undies to hold hands.
That is all.
Now I know why all of those girls are so weirded out by me.
*sigh*
I know you're out there somewhere, my angelic, undergarment-clad hand holder...

What if she just wanted to be comfortable and secure while they held hands?
Hanako: "Hisao, lock the door so we can hold hands while I'm mostly naked."
Hisao: "You mean SEX?" *strips off clothes*
ooooh feels.

To be fair, according to various media (FFX, Ferngully, maybe Avatar), holding hands is basically a form of sex anyway. Also according to crazy religious types.

I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

The scene isn't rape, but it is really complicated. Hanako never actually says 'yes' at any point, and all along she is giving non-verbal signals she is very uncomfortable with going that far that quickly. Now, at some level she did want exact that to happen, but like a lot of people she clearly has a lot of internal emotional conflict around sexuality.

She never says yes, but she non-verbally indicates she wants to proceed at several points. That really should have been the end of the discussion.

I feel like I can relate to that more than most.

I think you would have to do far worse than misinterpreting mixed signals from a girl who later admits that she was practically forcing herself on you despite her own better judgment to call it rape.
Yes, the situation was still all kinds of messed up, but come on. Rape is a very serious accusation.

She's also giving nonverbal signals to go ahead.
As for feeling uncomfortable, lots of people feel uncomfortable the first time.
(or after the first time)

And honestly, are you surprised that a person who doesn't even like people look at her at all would be hesitant to get naked?

I guess the real reason i like any of the girl is the events during the VN and what we "go through together"

Just wondering, do you have a link to that full image? If not, where did you find it? I haven't seen it before.
EDIT: Never mind, found it while browsing through the Favorite Fan Art thread. Another week and I should reach the end of it, and I will have lost at least 5GB of my table's memory to Hanako art.

Good point.
Can't tell a compelling story or craft a sympathetic character without struggling and suffering, after all.
