Emi's route is my favorite. I think their relationship is handled very well. It is one among equals and at least to me it seemed like the most healthy in the game, despite their issues. It is also very believable. I like Emi as a character, too. I think she is depicted as a great person and her initially hidden depths are revealed very convincingly and work very well with her overall character. The route does not contain as much high-stakes drama as some of the others, but that's something I like. That just highlights the well-written characters that you care about even more.

My second favorite is Rin's route although it is very different in some respects. Rin is a much more extreme and unusual character. Her route is much darker and addresses "great questions" much more directly and explicitly. However I think that it works extremely well in its own way.
