You sure the Nurse wasn't just bugging Meiko about making sure Emi doesn't over-exert/hurt herself?
It's mostly little things. Like the Nurse calling Meiko by her first name, he and Emi being so casual with each other, and Meiko's comment at the track meet after gettign a call "What is he, fifteen?" Yep, sounds like the nurse. :D

'sides, I think they'd make a cute couple.

To be honest, Emi being so casual with the nurse is simply because he's the one who helped her with her revalidation after her accident, but he's definitely a friend of the family. Unless Emi was joking about him having been over for dinner.
Sisterhood: True Edition. Hanako epilogue I wrote. Now expanded with additional chapters.

Emi: "I gotta go, Hisao. We're having Nurse over for dinner."

Hisao: "Over for dinner...?"

*cue scene of NursexEmixMeiko oral scene*

Hisao: *HNNNNNG*
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Yup! I'd have 'shopped one to make the reference clearer but I'm not skilled enough.

I got a slightly different reaction because I didn't follow her, but that face was perfectly hurt to me. Broke my heart.
