I found this VN by accident. I rarely played VNs because many of them didn't really interest me. Many VNs are just harems or just all about the H-Scenes. I wanted a VN that had meaning or was real interesting, like Clannad, Kanon, Steins;Gate, or something like that. Then I came upon KS, and now I'm here.

It is funny, and I'm glad "Katawa Shoujo" goes against people's expectations - in a very good way. I found it while searching the web for weird video games (hoping to find something funny), and I figured that its primary purpose would be to provide numerous gratuitous panty flashes and tasteless cartoon sex scenes for the fapping pleasure of young men everywhere. ("Fap" sure is a great word - I'll have to use it in my writing some day.) I've heard about this game from FunnyJunk. I was promised feels. I've got more than enough feels. Even some of the H-scenes brought feels.
Everyone hides who they are at least some of their time. Sometimes you bury that part of yourself so deeply that you have to be reminded it's there at all. And sometimes you just want to forget who you are all together.
