I liked that drawing so much that this happened.

That was really nice. I'm not usually into manga... is there anything more from this series? Or similar?

Looks like it was just a one-shot. The creator has apparently done artwork on another book (Mardock Scramble), but this is the only thing I could find that she both wrote and drew.

My own knowledge of what's out there is fairly limited, and I've never seen anything like this story in manga before. The manga I read is mostly modern-day slice-of-life and humor stuff: Bakuman (about breaking into the manga industry), Yotsuba &! (cute vignettes about a little girl and her adoptive father), Azumanga Daioh (four-panel gag manga about high school girls), Genshiken ("The Big Bang Theory" in Japan), etc.), but I haven't seen anything quite this moving before. I hope there's similar stuff out there.

I'd like to add "It's Not My Fault I'm Not Popular!". It focuses heavily on the stereotypes of...

...well, we can all relate to it. It's a very nice read, since I'm fairly certain everyone here would understand how the main character would feel during certain events, no matter how exaggerated her reactions are.

Even how annoying she is, I would never bully a cuties like her.
Cute girl, deaf or not, will bang her.

I highly doubt she'd let you given how sadly your thought process jumped immediately to that...

Most likely she'd write "ECCHI!" in her notebook, turn and run.

Classy.

Unfortunate, because this was released in 2011. Maybe she doesn't feel very confident in her storytelling? I know that's why I prefer to illustrate other people's stories.

...D'awwww. That's the cutest hypothetical situation ever.

That would be unfortunate, given the skill she already has.

I must find a way to absorb her power.

I believe you just have to eat her brain. I read that somewhere.

I dug a little deeper and it sounds like she might be a teenager. Maybe she's wrapped up in a transition to college or working life.

Woah, the author's just a teenager? Color me amazed. Granted the art seemed off in a few places but most of it seemed to add to the story in it's own way.

Hope this girl makes some more manga, the story's not particularly outstanding but she does seem to have a lot of talent.

I just noticed this was made into an ongoing series.
