Sorry, I really don't want to go into details. It's the same as Hanako's, really. That's what brought me to this VN in the first place.

As for self-esteem I only seem more confident because a) it's online so nobody can see me, b) this forum is more understanding than most about such things, and c) I'm trying to be more social. IRL I'm exactly how Hanako is (someone brought up me being her Rule 63), so I say they did a good job capturing that kind of thing.
I am the male version of Hanako Ikezawa.

Find a Yamaku and go there and find your IRL Hisai (that's my attempt at making Hisao into a feminine name)

Perfectly understandable, man. I wish you all the best with your efforts to be more social. Hopefully it all works out well and you can find yourself a nice little newspaper club or equivalent.

I think the quote-unquote "canon" genderbent Hisao is Hisako. Don't quote me on that though.

Keeping fighting the good fight. And don't forget you have friends here.

Kind ain the same boat here. Although I don't have scars, I was treated pretty badly and teased through most of high school, to the point where even decades later I'm introverted and skittish around other people. More than anything that's what drew me to, and makes me feel so close to Hanako. I feel some of what shes going through.

Darn, I knew I did the right thing by standing up to the bullies. And biting one of them.

If that's the right thing, how come I always got beaten up, strangled, and then suspended for it?

Xanatos grew up in da hood yo for real. Seriously tho I feel like theres something about the ages of 12/13 that makes kids into nasty assholes. Younger kids are too innocent to do really mean things beyond standard bully procedures, and generally by high school they figure out they can just leave people alone instead of torturing them.

Except when they're not. :P Being young isn't a free pass to innocence. Some people are just awful human beings.

Sadly, this is very true. I really wonder why people can't just be nice to each other. Is there really a reason to bring harm to one another? What benefit does that bring? It's hard to comprehend why there are people like this in the world. People are confusing.

You probably didn't frighten them enough by fighting them. That, or they just plain look down on you because of your palsy.

Well one things for sure. "Just ignore them and they'll get bored and go away." is the biggest crock of shit you can ever tell of child.

Very true. I tried it once. They didn't stop. Then when the dismissal bell rang, I dumped all his books to the floor and tore his shirt in half in the process of clawing at him.

Then the teacher pulled me aside into the hallway, told me they deserved it and he approved, then begrudgingly had to send me to the principal anyway for ripping the guy's shirt apart. xD

Incidentally, "go tell an adult" is an even bigger crock of shit. As if bullies are the sort of people who would take anything from a lecture. Adults are basically useless in most such scenarios.
